More Knitting

I have been doing some knitting since the holidays.  Here's what I've done so far.

Some mittens, using Elizabeth Zimmermann's pattern and my own handspun yarn.

A scarf using a traditional Estonian Stork's Nest pattern and a Merino/cashmere yarn.

And this little sweater that is on it's way to a new home next week.  The blue yarn is recycled blue jeans and the sleeves are a self-striping sock yarn.  The pattern is called Avery from Holli Yeoh.

We went to Baby Bird's birthday party on Sunday.  She's the cutest 2 year old that I know!

Addition to Knitting Resume

I can now say that I knitted a hat that attended Super Bowl Media Day!  This is a picture of my brother-in-law, a photographer, wearing the hat I knitted him for Christmas.  It's good to have a famous hat...  (Oh, I think there are some football players in the photo as well.)
