Christmas Knitting

Now that all of the gifts have been given, I can show you all what I knitted for Christmas gifts this year.

For the gals, I knitted Mitts. I think I knitted 11 pair - 2 didn't make the photo session.

For the guys, I knitted 5 of these Noro scarfs. One didn't make the photo.

I also knitted 3 baby sweaters and I seem to have forgotten to take photos of them. I'm already starting to think of next years projects and have a few in mind. They're all a lot of fun to make.

SANTA'S COMING?

Advent Candle Friends

I think the theme this year for the lighting of the advent candles at our church was "friends". The men from our Supper Club group were asked to light the candle this week. We all were originally members of the same church and they (and us as couples) have been getting together for dinner every month for the past (in February) 29 years.

What a handsome group of guys!!

Most of us were able to go to lunch afterwards. It was a good time.

21 Years Ago...

21 years ago we had this carpet installed...

Yesterday, it was replaced with this...

Now, since I had to empty the floor in all of the closets, I have two huge piles of stuff. One for Goodwill and one for the trash.
