We have had a busy last couple of weeks. On the Wednesday before Christmas, we left for Denver by driving to Amarillo that afternoon and then on to Toddler M's house the next day. We cooked, and ate, and got everything ready for the big day. We went to a very nice Christmas Eve church service.
Christmas morning, both sets of grandparents, one of the great grandmothers, two aunts and an uncle, and his parents, of course, were there for Toddler M's Santa extravaganza. Gifts were opened, paper was trashed, and everyone was (I think) happy with their loot.
This included a big truck,
and a "computer" all his own.
(Ohhhhh, truck and computer both at the same time - awesome!)
Hummmm. What have we here?
How cool is this!
Whoa! This looks cool!
Aunt Carebear made a terrific coffee cake for breakfast and later we had a yummy Christmas dinner (complete with chocolate meringue pie, and blueberry cobbler) for 12 adults.
That afternoon everyone helped clean up the kitchen and visited, wondering when Aunt S's and Uncle M's new addition would make her entrance to the world since December 25th was her due date. (Turned out she arrived on 12/29 - only a few days late!)
We left Denver on Tuesday morning for a detour through Taos and Santa Fe. More on that next time!
